     Crimson Editor is a plain text and source code editor that will be of use both to ordinary users and developers. It features working with multiple documents (all the files are accessible via tabs), syntax highlighting (for anything from HTML to C++ to LaTeX), unlimited undo/redo memory and more. The editor lets you record up to ten different macros for frequently used operations with text - you can record something as simple as making all the text in lower case or as complex as completely re-formatting an HTML page.
     There's also a spellchecker with a reasonably sized dictionary (some 100000 words), a built-in FTP client, a powerful search/replace feature etc., and all that absolutely free of charge. Download this editor today and see that for yourself.
