Pros: ZZEE PHPExe compiles Windows GUI programs from PHP, HTML, Javascript and other web files. It helps develop Windows GUI rapidly using the familiar PHP metaphor. One can use the same code for on-line as well as Windows environment with little or no changes. Applications compiled with ZZEE PHPExe look and behave like standard Windows GUI applications. Compiled applications can be distributed royalty free. They are protected from changes by users too. Users cannot see the web files or the file tree. There’s an integrated PHP encoder so no need to use a third party encoder. You can compile your program through the compiler accessed through the UI and name the executables the way you like and assign whatever icons you may feel like. A very small footprint application is generated and it can be as small as 2.1 Mb. The size, of course, depends on the number of PHP extensions used and the actual code size. A web-server, a browser and embedded PHP are included but the server does not interfere with Apache, IIS or other web-servers or PHP installation, proxies and firewalls that may be in use, does not occupy ant TCP port either. Built-in web-browser is based on Internet Explorer and thus standards compatible and runs at higher levels of permission making possibilities of better services than applications than are possible with other web-servers. More than one copy of a compiled application can run at a time. ISAPI interface is used by programs rather than the CGI making the execution speed usually faster. This application comes with PHP 5.2.5 and includes a number of extensions; you could add your own too. A range of debug options are available too. Interface is really simple to use and intuitive.
