Generator FD lets us to shorten in a spectacular way the time-to-market, getting a very structured three tier architecture code. FD is very easy to use, is a tool that lets generate all the application code of a windows forms application automatically, from the Diagrams. It generates the database scripts, the classes’ code and the forms.
The generated code uses the FD Architecture, designed in three tiers, that lends the needed functionality to access from the classes, automatically, to the database. And from the user code, you get access to the class-values.
Generator FD lets you generate code for the classes and forms in VB.NET and C#. The database scripts are generated in Trasact-SQL.
To generate the code, you only have to draw the class diagrams with the properties, select Automatic Code Generation, run the database scripts in the SQL-Analist of SQL Server, open a VB.Net project, open the project-generated files, and compile.
The Diagrams gets stored, so they can be reused in further projects.
