This control makes it easy to add folder selection to your application. Simply call the controls Show method and it returns True if the user selected a folder. You get easy access to the display name, ie. (C:), the path, C:, and even the associated icon. You can require that the user select a file system directory, a computer, or a printer. You can also set the root to the desktop, control panel, desktop directory, my computer, fonts directory, network neighborhood, printers folder, program groups, recent folder, sendto folder, start menu, startup folder, or the templates (shellnew) folder.
