A collection of ActiveX 32bit controls for Visual Basic that encrypts data based upon the W.W.II German enigma machine. each control has a predetermined number of rotors which consists of wheels with all 256 characters of the Ascii character set. They also include a reflecting rotor which enhances the encryption algorithm. The unique property of the enigma algorithm is that one character can represent 256 other characters. It is not a one for one encryption routine. Enigma5 OCX Gold consists of 5 rotors and the ability to change the rotor and reflector configurations using seeds.
