Sometimes all these jokes of maniacally creative designers drive us crazy. Their attempts to create something outstanding make our lives uncomfortable. Try to copy & paste some part of text from some original designer’s page. What will you see? First of all, extraordinary text format – that’s almost a rule, which works regularly. Now we can forget about these unhappy people, who are creating against us, but who want to create for us.
Clip Strip is a program, which can kill all these “extraordinary design features”. It doesn’t care about design, and its point of view on it has reminded me a point of view of a cruel old pragmatic person. Sounds cynically, but Clip Strip won’t be noble-minded and won’t give a chance to bold, italics, underlined text and so on. It will convert them all into plain straight text, and that’s all. The program, as it seemed to me, has no interface at all, just a single setup window with the list of features (all of them are “options-hiding” ones). All you have to do is just to switch on this program, read its message about the start of its work and then just enjoy it. It requires at least Windows 95, and I can see no reasons not to give this program a vacancy in your software!
