MaxDIR is a utility which allows you to sort and manage your DOS directory files in the most effective way.
    It arranges your directory files into a specified number of columns in order to display around two hundred files at a time. The different files are displayed in different colors for discrimination, such as, .exe files are light cyan, .com files are light green and .doc file are white etc. The files can also be alphabetized for easy location of the files you are looking for. It displays other standard information like the disk space, disk type and so on. This is a very useful enhancement for anybody using command lines in DOS, Windows, NT, Mac prompts.
