Program utilities are very useful, if only we could use them properly. Nevertheless, sometimes we download, install and try to use the real stuff, which is nothing, but dangerous garbage (and the world isn’t enough actually for it!). What are you going to do, if your system has changed for worse, because of such “nice utility”?
As for me, I was pleased by the program called Log Monitor, which is a files and directories monitoring tool. The program periodically checks selected file's modification time and executes external program if file's time was changed or not changed. For directories it handles such events as files change, addition or removal. Can you believe, that it will do all the routine work for you? I couldn’t, but now I can say that I’m really glad that I was clever enough to click the download link and then to watch Log Monitor working in my system. That’s the best administrator for your system, which was ever created. Now let me ask you a simple question: “Would you mind, if a program conduct all these boring, though useful, operations of controlling your files system?” I guess, I know the answer.
