Programs for design are always hard in all the meanings: they require too much space, they need your concentration (youíll have to understand principles of their work before using), they require a good imagination and a good feeling of size, proportion and color. Thatís the common disadvantages of all programs for designers (or amateurs).
SWiSH developers couldnít avoid typical disadvantages in creating this program. But this software for design is one of the best among other programs for creating and editing images. SWiSH allows you to produce animation in Flash, without using Flash technology. That program seemed to be very complicated to me, but it took me five or six minutes to understand how does it work and then to enjoy the process of creating. SWiSH is especially great, when you are looking through the list of its features: it has over 150 built-in effects like Explode, Vortex, 3D Spin, Snake and many more. SWiSH has tools for creating lines, rectangles, ellipses, Bezier curves, motion paths, sprites and rollover buttons, all in an easy-to-use interface. The only thing that didnít please me was the limitation of features, I mean, the impossibility of using special effects in a trial version.
