SoftPerfect Network Scanner is an IP, NetBIOS and SNMP scanner for both system administrators and users who are interested in computer security.
    This tool is multi-thread enabled, and has a modern interface with more advanced features. It scans IP, NetBIOS and SNMP. The program lists the type of resources on shared network by pinging computers and scanning listening ports. The list include hidden and system resources. You can browse the list using Windows explorer and you can filter it. One of the unique features of the tool is that it mounts shared resources as network drives. The program also lists the user defined open ports. These ports when identified are reported when they are open and their host name resolved. The tool also auto-detects your IP range.
    The tool does not restrict the users from having administrative privileges. This tool can be used by all types of users.
