Good old dog would be closer to you than any funny puppy. This rule concerns computer games as well. Do you remember such game as Sea Battle? All of us were fond of playing it. Now you can play on PC, just by pushing buttons of your mouse!
      BattleShips is a good simple arcade, and nothing more. But isn’t it enough for you to have pleasure? I don’t think so. The game looks like standard training field for Navy officers: two fields, the one with your ships, and the other, on which the fleet of your enemy (computer or a friend) is hidden. To start the game you should place your cruisers as you like, and then to push “Ready” button. Your turn to shoot – so do click on any square of your enemy’s field. If your fire is exact, you will enjoy the special symbol on this square. If it is not, you’ll see the red cross. Ships explode with cool sound of siren and one big “Splash!” Sounds are nice in that game; the soundtrack is the main advantage of it. The rest is worth saying “Wonderful!” You just forget about all the troubles or problems and start playing like an old mad retired sailor. The game will be a good alternative to all these “cyberspace” arcades, which have nothing in common with the word “excitement”.
