Images displayed on LCD screens, like that of mobile phones and laptops the color depth is 16 bit instead of 24 bit. In such case the image fills with gradient colors where the screen will display color in steps and not as continuous color. But once you process the image with this tool the result display will be the same on PC and on mobile phone. The tool uses three different ways to make the image color display be continuous when the color is below 24 bit.
