Some programs, though we use the quite rarely, can open our eyes on the meaning of the word “useful”. I have to assure you, that the following program is actually more than useful.
It is called IE5 Address Bar Editor, and the range of aims to be reached by using it is very wide. The main ability of that tool is that it helps you to delete some addresses from the “drop-down” address list of Explorer panel. It is more than simple in usage: you just should unzip it, then launch. It will display all the addresses, which are in the list. Then everything is simple and quick – you just should click on the address you wish to delete and then press the Backspace button on your keyboard. The interface might be called Spartan, but I won’t agree – it’s maximally functional and clear. The developer recommends to use the program along with Internet Explorer 5.0 – there’s a possibility that it won’t cooperate with some older versions. But anyway, the program is worth at least to try. I’m sure that one try will make you using the IE5 Address Bar Editor always.
