The golden age of computer games ended when games run under DOS had become obsolete. Remember bursts of emotions, suspense, and action of the games that now are considered classic? Thankfully, there are developers who remember and remake the good old games under the slightly modified names.
ParaShooter 3D is the cutting-edge clone of Paratrooper, a classic action game. However, it's just the basic idea that the developers took from the original game, and all the other things, like levels, armaments, terrains etc. have been created from scratch. The goal of the game is to destroy all attacking enemies (airplanes, paratroopers, choppers etc.) with your antiaircraft gun before they reach or bomb it. The game consists of twenty levels, of which three are presented in the demo version. More numbers: six bosses (one in demo), five types of enemies (three in demo) and four types of weapons (all in demo).
The game's graphics is glorious! Truly three-dimensional, ParaShooter 3D makes you think you're right on the battlefield. The terrains are superb, and the sky with the clouds would make the real sky turn green with envy. The airplanes, choppers and other enemies are presented in almost photographic detail. Don't look much at the clouds, though - you risk losing the game!
