With the death of the great tandem of DOS and Norton Commander ended the era of two-paneled file managers. Of course, a few stubborn individuals still use Norton Commander or Far with Windows XP; others have comfortably, if a little reluctantly, switched to using Windows Explorer. Windows File Explorer is, of course, a great application, very usable when it comes to browsing for files, but it's no good when you want to move or copy a file or a bunch of files from one folder to another. Two Explorers is a simple tool that solves this problem.
Two Explorers is a program that opens two Windows Explorers for you side by side, tiled on the desktop. If you run the program from the Start menu, two Explorer windows for disk C: will appear. If you run it from any other folder (the tool is accessible from the item in the right-mouse-click menu), a duplicate window will appear and both windows will be tiled so that you can browse in two windows, viewing them both at once and having no difficulty at all in moving or copying files.
The program works under Windows 95/98 only. Download this free tool today and check it out yourself.
