There are lots of image viewers on the market: ones that were pioneers long ago, like Sea, others that cause religious wars among their fans, like Irfan View and ACDSee, others yet that you've never heard of, like FocusViewer.
FocusViewer is a curious image viewer that also incorporates some features of an image editor. It is a new program, built according to Windows XP interface standards, yet it's quite a simple viewer. The viewer shows you images in folders on your hard disk in quickly generated thumbnails. You can click on each image to view its original size, or select it and run the editor from the viewer 'File' menu to add one or more built-in effects. These include rotating, twisting, adding noise, smoothing, sharpening etc.
The viewer also lets you make any image your desktop wallpaper with just a couple of mouse clicks. All in all, it's a promising utility. Download it today and see it for yourself.
