Magitime is a deceptively simple tool that shows you what is going on with your Internet connection, plus a lot more.
It shows you exactly all you need to know about your connection to help you make informed decisions about when to get online and how long to stay online. You can limit your children’s connections and how monitor the time they spend connected, set up how much charges are if you go on a per hour rate, or just watch to make sure you don’t spend too much time online.
Magitime also shows you your current IP address, connection speed, total sent and received KB and tells you the stats for total since install and total that connection or day. It is a really good source of information for your own purposes. It also shows time and date stats for your local times zone and Internet Time or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). To be honest, if you right click on the tray, this seemingly simple program turns into its own start menu of features. There are just too many to list here. Just don’t be afraid of that alarm noise, it’s not your firewall; it’s the configurable alarm clock.
I like Magitime because it is free, and it smashes the pants off other similar products with its massive list of features. Even if you are only simply curious about what time it is in GMT or how long you spend online in a week, then you can’t go wrong with Magitime.
