Slideshow screensaver creates a professional looking slideshow out of a collection of photos in a one click process. One just has to select a set of photos and a name for the screensaver.
Pros: This is a very simple application that creates a professional looking slideshow out of a set of digital photos to be used as a screensaver. At default choice of parameters it is a one click process. One just has to choose a name for the slideshow and the collection of photos to be used for the show.
The user interface is very simple and intuitive and absolutely easy to learn. The opening screen is about choosing photos. You could browse around and select folders, add individual photos into the collection too.
Next screen lets you select a name for the show or let the default name be used and then it’s a one click on the conversion button and its done. What’s done is the application of transition effects. There’s a whole set of them. In the default case these effects are applied randomly between photo transitions. One could choose the effects of course by going into parameter settings. Other parameter that could be set is the dwell time for each slide in the show. You could choose the number of photos to be displayed in one screen, order of photos to be displayed, effect rate and so on.
You could choose to set/reset some events such as exit on mouse move, spacebar pause the screensaver and use arrow keys. Before making the conversion there’s a preview option to make sure everything is according to what you wanted to create. Change anything that needs to be changed before pushing the “create screensaver” button.
Cons: No problematic issues noticed.
Overall: Assuming this is what you needed, the application is simple to learn and simple to use and is a fit candidate for 5 star rating.
