Weather Watcher is a free system-tray application that retrieves and displays your local forecast. It's attractive and easy to use. Enter a U.S. ZIP code, or choose from a huge number of international locales. Weather Watcher offers to automatically update local conditions periodically -- from every five minutes to every two hours. The main display only shows sky conditions, temperature, and heat index, but a single mouse click displays a lot more, including wind conditions, dew point, humidity, visibility, barometer, sunrise, and sunset. It also displays a seven-day forecast, and provides links to retrieve a detailed forecast, audio forecast, and severe weather alerts.
