     DesktopPlant is a small tool that lets you grow a pot plant on your desktop. It grows right on the desktop on top of your wallpaper, but beneath your icons. You care about the plant by setting the right temperature, watering it and giving it fertilizers in the settings window, which can be accessed if you double-click the plant. The plant, Azalea in the trial version, grows well if you care about it well enough, and dies if nobody looks after it. There's an option of purchasing an Automatic Care System which will look after you plant for you. The trial version tree will gradually die no matter how well you look after it.
