This patch will protect your computer from the 'I Love You' virus. This virus is a VBS worm that mails itself to everyone in your address book. The infected email subject line is 'I Love You,' and the attachment is 'loveletterforyou.txt.vbs.' This virus has the ability to download an executable, which can steal passwords when it is run. To use this patch, simply unzip this file and place the EXTRA.DAT file in the McAfee VirusScan folder with the other DAT files. You must have McAfee VirusScan (95/98) to use this fix.
