This freeware program is a small auto ping utility. It can be used to check your Internet connection.

Features: This freeware program and it can ping hosts to provide you statistics about your internet connection. You do not need to go to the command prompt but work from a very convenient user interface. The interface has controls to add hosts you need to ping. The list of names of the hosts is shown on top of these controls. You have other controls such as delete an item, delete all etc. There`s a start button that starts the process. You can specify time out and delay times in terms of milliseconds. The display area shows the results of pings as they happen in real time. This part of the interface is tabbed. You have a tab for each host and by clicking on them you can choose to look at the activity for the specific host. There is a summarized statistics area. This shows packets sent, packets received, packets lost and percentage of loss. Summary stats are viewable in the tray all the time. The application runs on Windows 98, 2000, 2003, XP and Vista.

Overall: The interface has a type. It shows with ping too. Millisecond is abbreviated as mc rather than ms. Nice little indicator which tells you always about what`s happening with your Internet connection. Watch out for problems with the software, this is a version 1.0 release!
