AnyReader: CD data recovery / DVD data recovery. Read from scratched CD/DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray disks, unreliable LAN (Wi-Fi), damaged floppy/flash disks, etc. Effectively copy corrupt data from any type of disks or faulty connections when standard copy methods fail. AnyReader supports resumed downloads from a remote PC if the connection was broken during the copy process (especially useful for unreliable Wi-Fi networks).

AnyReader is great for copying files from scratched CD/DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray or defective floppy/hard disks. Normally, when your computer is unable to copy files from a damaged disk it will abort and delete the part of the file it has copied. AnyReader will continue copying the file right to the end; any data that hasn't been recovered after several retries is replaced with blanks. This will allow you to effectively read every byte of information that can be read.

Here are some situations where AnyReader can help: your CD/DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray drive can't read a bad, scratched or trashed disks; the standard copying method fails because of an error, such as "(Bad CRC) A cyclic redundancy check (CRC) checksum error occurred", "Cannot read from the source file or disk", an unknown error or a bad disk; you have 2 bad copies of a file that you would like to put right; you can't download a file across a wireless LAN because of a bad connection, etc.

AnyReader is a data copying software for non editable media like CD/DVD, LAN network, flash drive, zip drive, floppy disk etc. Normally we encounter problems to copy files from a damaged drive and it will abort or delete part of files from copying. Using this application you can continue copying file to the end and any unrecoverable data will be replaced with blanks. At least you get part of data from files instead of losing everything.

Features: Application allows you to set startup preferences for your application such as common setting, confirmation and interface language. Application has various options to copy or read the files from damaged drive. Application allows you to copy files from disks having problems such as bad sectors, physical damages or files those gives a copying error. You can copy files from a remote computer when network connection has recurrent error.

Application has simple user interface, you need to follow simple five steps to complete your process. In the first step select an option which you want to opt for. In the next step, select source files for copying. Moving to the next step defines the target folder where you would like to save processed files or you can keep files in the same folder. Application allows you to set copying setting from the list of available options. For each option you can set number of attempts to read bad sector, pause between retry attempts and skip sector. In the next step your files are copied and displayed the status on screen like file name, percentage, size, bad sector and status. In the last step you can have options to open report, export copied files. The recovery results in not consistent.

Overall: It is a simple utility to copy files from damaged media.
