ShutdownEr will log off, reboot or shutdown Windows (and on some PCs, will switch it off) at a time you specify. You can force these actions to be performed - this will bypass any save dialogs.

Why would I want it

If you were downloading a big file and you knew when it would finish, you set this program to shutdown the machine at a specific time.
If you were browsing the internet at night, and you usually fall asleep, this program would shutdown windows for you at any time you like, so that you don't need to worry about the computer being left on.
If you wanted to log off,reboot or shutdown your PC by pressing a single key on the keyboard
If you wanted to log off,reboot or shutdown a pc on the network.
If you wanted to view the desktop of a PC on the network.
