     The clock in the right bottom corner of the desktop makes wrist watches and plain alarm clocks obsolete. But that's a digital clock and it's not easily customized using only the system options. In fact, you can't change anything about the taskbar clock. If you'd like to use your imagination and customize a clock with hands that can be placed anywhere on your desktop, use AClock.
     AClock is a compact program that lets you have a pretty round clock with hands and dots. You can move the clock with your mouse cursor to position it anywhere on the screen. The clock can have a customizable color background or become transparent and display the time directly on your wallpaper. All the other things - the hands and the dots can be customized too in a variety of ways - from length and width to color and shape.
     The program is free and doesn't require an installation process - just unpack and run it. What's more, it doesn't leave any trail of its presence in the taskbar - no icon and no window; you can get to the program's options by right-clicking on the clock itself.
