Excel to vCard is a nice standalone utility to convert Excel to VCF files. It works without MS outlook or any other email client. VCF format is used by many e-mail clients to import data such as Lotus Notes, Windows Address Book, Windows Vista Contacts Address Book, Mobile, Palm, Mac Address Book, iPhone, KDE contact application on Linux and other applications which allow the import of contact in vCard format.
Features: The application is nicely designed considering the need of users. It is a simple user interface and easy to use application. You need to follow simple steps to complete conversion of excel contact to VCF format.
In the first step select and open excel file from which you want to create VCF format. Application supports preview facility to view contents of your excel file. First row of your excel will be treated as your field name. Moving to the next step perform one to one mapping from Excel fields to outlook attributes such as first name, last name, email id, company name, address, city, state and many more fields available in Outlook. Add your mapping to the list. In the last step check/uncheck option allow empty email address to be imported. Click on convert button to start conversion process. Application will ask to choose the path to store your VCF file, select path and process. After conversion the automatically folder will be created with time stamp as suffix and each contact is converted with one VCF file.
