All I wanted to do was change the file extension of a bunch of photos from .JPG to .jpg. After hunting high and low, I found this utility, which worked a treat. The only reason I haven`t given it 5 stars was because I found the italic text a bit hard to read and it wasn`t very intuitive to use due to the layout of the commands but this aside, it did exactly what I wanted.

Great tool for renaming all my digital pictures. I always like to add the date in yy-mo-dd format to my pictures at the end of the file name. Ex: DSC01978-080713. I used to manually put in the date one file at a time. Very time consuming. But not anymore.
