MultiFind is a lightweight efficient file search and replace application. When searching the file contents it shows text lines that contain found text. Tabs allow making a new search without loosing configuration and results of previous searches.
Features: MultiFind is a tabbed file search and replace utility. It allows search of multiple files by text string, binary data, regular expression, file size, file date and so on. You can do more than one search and replace operation at the same time. Tabbed interface lets you run several such operations at the same time. The results appear on separate tabs. You are able to search files by name, a specific text string that is possibly there in the content, Unicode strings, regular expressions etc. Replacement is carried out after a back up copy has been created. As the target strings are found, you can look at a display of file content lines that contain the string. The target string is highlighted.
MultiFind can be invoked from the explorer folder context menu. Search speed can be optimized. The application can be minimized and stay on as a tray icon. You are able to reorder and rename the tabs. The interface lets you set the parameter for a search and replace easily. Finding a file is easy as the explorer like interface is integrated in the interface area.
Overall a useful tool for working with files that have multiple instances of a string that needs to be replaced with a newer string. It is fairly easy to use.
