HyperText Translator is a FREE utility which allows you to quickly search and replace strings in a block of text. Its main use is to prepare plain text for insertion into the source code of an HTML page (and we actually use it internally to do just that). The source of the text can be a Word Document, text file, PDF file, web page, etc. The external text file already contains a list of common symbols and their HTML equivalents, and you can easily add your own items by using a text editor. The program also allows you to remove any unwanted white space from your files.
Note that this product is not supported in any way.

HyperText Translator is a tool that lets you convert special characters from any source such as a plain text file or a Word document to proper HTML code. It also lets you convert things back - from HTML source to plain text as well as remove unnecessary white space in a text snippet, thus reducing its size. The interface of the program resembles one of online translators: one form field is for the input, the other is for the output. The program determines the source (plain text or HTML) automatically and lets you insert breaks in place of line endings in plain text files. What's more, you can add your own characters and tags to the replace list, thus extending the possibilities of the program.
