TextEd has the most formatting abilities user may need, ability to send e-mail and ability to be customized. TextEd is limited by memory of computer on which is running. Virtually, it can open over 2 billion files at the same time with contents of 2048 MB of text for each one. Of course, there is no machine in home use that can handle that, so we can say that TextEd has no limits.

TextEd is not a replacement for Microsoft Word or other word processors, but it is an excellent replacement for Windows's Notepad. TextEd is a product created in free time with a lot of good will invested.
