Key Serv allows you to monitor, capture and log keystrokes sent to your computer from your keyboard. This is a perfect tool to catch online cheaters, or monitor what your kids are doing online. It also has a nice 'Keyword' feature that allows the Key Serv to take a screen shot of the of entire computer screen and save it as a jpeg image for later viewing. All of this is done in the background and it totally hidden from the user that is using the computer at that time. In Windows 95/98 Key Serv doesn't even show up in the Windows task list, so it is totally hidden. In Windows NT and Windows 2000 Key Serv can not be hidden from the task list. The administer of Key Serv has 'Hot Key' combination that will activate the Key Serv user interface. There are 38 hot key combination to choose from. Also the Key Serv interface is protected by a password that you choose. All configuration information for Key Serv is store in an ini file that is kept in your windows directory. This ini file is encrypted, so your configuration information, such as the hot key combination to activate the Key Serv interface, can not be read by any user. Key Serv is great for monitoring what users at a computer are typing. Key Serv will also tell you the Application that a user was in when the keystrokes were logged. Key Serv can also capture some passwords, such as your dial-up networking password, so if you forgot your password you can go through your log files and find it. Key Serv run as a service so users aren't' aware when it starts up.
