This is the worst video converter I`ve ever come across. It uses so much resources that even while using the search function within the program window it closed by itself several times. Later when I did a search for a file where the folder in which the search had to be done contained only 3 files instead of a few hundred the window stayed open. But the worse was yet to come. I tried to join 3 big avi files and listed them. After hitting execute, nothing happened during 15 minutes with the progress meter remaining at 0%. No warning at all. The program and my PC completely blocked, and I couldn`t even do a Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut the program. I could not shut off my PC. (Let`s not forget here that even if you want to shut off your PC you need some resources too). Only a hard power-off button worked. The name power video converter probabily has something to do with it. And BTW it`s version 1.5.26 in the meantime. I use a 1Ghz/512SDRam XP OS which is perfectly within the specs. required for the program > allthough I think this not correct. During my test all other app`s/programs were closed.

its the best converter i have used
