I was looking for a program that recovers my files that have a reading error on the disk. Unfortunately this seems to be a tool that formats the disk in a very special way so more bytes are available on the disk thereafter. All data will be lost (!), appears in the description.

to the person above: i`m pretty sure this is a FLOPPY DISK recovery tool. i`m sorry to tell u, but floppy disks are NOT 540MB, much less 1gb. if u dont know what it is, dont submit ur review, you`re only wasting everyone`s time. but this program didn`t help me, i had a faulty floppy disk, and it didn`t repair it.

This is in fact "Crippleware" non functional in disks over 540MB for "bad sector repair" unless a licenced copy is purchased. The program ran, showed a dialog box indicating that a paid for version was required and then restarted part way through at the rate of 1Gb/ 12 hours. In short, not fully functional, no report generated and so slow as to be useless ( Runs on Win 2000 upwards only to ad insult to injury.
