A tray-based utility for Windows 9x that monitors your system folder (usually C:Windows) and logs changes made. Three other folders of your choice can be monitored as well. Theprogram can detect if a file or folder has been deleted, renamed, created, or if the attributes have changed. When a modification is detected, it's noted in a log file created for that date. Logs can be viewed and printed from within the program. If you take your PC to the shop for service, What Did You Do might assist the technicians by showing what events have happened in your system folder. Or, if one ofyour crucial system files gets accidently renamed, before you resort to reformatting your hard drive or reinstalling Windows, you can check your log files to see if the problem can be easily fixed by just renaming the file to its original name.
