This is a tool that lets you create a photo gallery where thumbnails are arranged in a grid.

This software program lets you create a photo gallery that uses an image grid FX component. Customization parameters include properties of the grid and adding image transitions, text effects and many gallery properties. It is possible to customize your XML list of image transitions. Image Transitions generator available makes choosing the effects easily. Similarly, you could choose text effects from text effects generator. Choice of display effects include bestFit, boxFit or forceFit. Gallery display too can be customized for full screen configuration through “generate settings XMLs” button option. Organizing the grid is simple through several parameters available. Number of columns and row can be set to any value, tooltips use text that is driven by CSS.

Customization is possible with image borders and the spacing between images. The mouse over effect is quite nice. The thumbnail is enlarged slightly, thumbnails surrounding the target one is also highlighted with brightening borders. Once the images are displayed, the slide show can be moved forward or back through the scroll controls. You can, of course close the show and go back to grid display. The entire source is supplied with MXP, FLA, SWF, HTML, XML, JS that works with Flash CS3, CS4, CS5. ActionScript use is the version 3.0. This tool is quite nice to show off photos, products, services or whatever it is you want to show off in your web site.
