     If you have a website, you know that one way of keeping a loyal audience is make a place for them to communicate between each other, such as a web conference. Whether you make the scripts for the forum yourself or adopt a free CGI script, you will sooner or later want to enable your visitors format their messages. htmlArea will let you do that.
     htmlArea is a client-side script written in JavaScript that lets you turn out any textarea form box into a WYSIWYG text editor. That is useful if you'd like your visitors to see the changes made to the text right away. The advantages of such a method are numerous: less traffic as your visitors won't have to load a separate preview page or go back and edit their messages if it turns out quite the opposite of what they tried to do. There's also a color picker script and an image insertion script in this package.
