This is a software tool to help you create photo albums on the web.

AutoSiteGallery is software to create web-based photo albums. This tool is able to automatically create high-quality thumbnails, resize images and convert JPEG, generate the linked HTML pages for thumbnails and full-size images, etc. If you are just starting to use the tool or are a beginner, simply use the defaults. That would be the quickest way to get a full album ready very quickly. There are settings available that will let you customize most things, if you are finicky about what you want. These settings are easily changed, and the interface makes it fairly intuitive to handle them. You can really tweak things, if you know your way around in HTML and change the template to suit what you want. To help organize and annotate the album, the program shows the thumbnails of all photos.

You start by collecting the photos you want in the album. You can change the sequence in which they would appear in the albums too. You could take advantage of the previewer to make sure you got the right photo and in the right sequence. The screen that lets you specify the album has many a parameters, grouped under general, page layout, page style, description, and navigation tabs. The page layout tab, for example, will let you manage a template from a given list (these can be edited), thumbnail height, width and quality (JPEG parameter), and the parameters that decide how the thumbnails will be placed. Even when many templates are provided, one starts to get dissatisfied and yearns for more choices after some time of use. Other than that happening sometime in future, this is a nice, handy tool.
