DWG to DXF Converter Pro is a batch DWG and DXF bi-directional converter that allows you to convert DWG to DXF, DXF to DWG without the need of AutoCAD. It is also an AutoCAD drawing file version converter. The Pro version supports command line.

You do not need the AutoCAD to be present when converting. When choosing the output file you can choose the version of DWG or DXF you want the file to be converted. As we all know there has been several versions of the drawing formats. These formats include R2.5/2.6, R9, R10, R12, R13, R14, R2000/2002, R2004/2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 formats (conversion between versions also is possible). This Pro version also includes operations from a command line.

The main interface area is given over to a list display area and the corresponding controls to define a list of files to be converted in a batch. It is easy to use and is intuitive. You have controls that let you pick the files and edit the list easily. When including files/folders you can choose to include all the subdirectories inside a folder. That will help adding files easily. The controls to manage the list are on the right of the display area. Whether you want to convert DWG or DXF has to be specified of course. You have to then choose the output type, file version and a folder name before starting the conversion process. The process is a single click one and can be aborted any time. This pro version has a command line option.
