This is software that lets you get the contents in a PDF document and let you edit them in an appropriate Office tool such as the Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
PdfGrabber converts PDF files into multiple formats. PDF to Excel, PDF to RTF or DOC, PDF to text, PDF to DXF or other CAD format and PDF to XML etc. are possible. You then can simply edit the content as needed. The documents then can be converted back to PDF as this tool lets you convert any printable document generated by a Windows application into a PDF easily. Adobe Acrobat is not required to be installed in the system for you to get these things done. The tool provides efficient export profile administration, automatic monitoring of input directories and various command line options. Remote monitoring is possible via command line as well as the COM port, besides the hot directory method. PdfGrabber is offered in three different versions. Parts of the document also can be converted to the desired format, if need be.
The tool is capable of working in networked mode allowing simultaneous export for multiple users. The interface makes it all simple. Initially, after collecting the list of documents you want to export to an Office application, you are required to tell the tool if you wanted all the pages or a range of pages to be converted. Depending on the conversion required the interface wizard will ask for some more confirmations and you are all set then. On the printer side, it is set up as a virtual printer and you simply ask for a print through this virtual printer to get a PDF document from other printable document formats. This is a nice and handy tool.
