This creates a nice gallery of videos to be shown on local player, the videos would have been downloaded from sources like the YouTube.
You do not need to have programming knowledge to create a gallery of videos. You can just open the XML file and add name of the movie link. The gallery is a grid of unlimited number of thumbnails of the videos that are in the collection. These are the videos you would have uploaded to places like. This total grid can be manually zoomed to fixed values that change by 10% starting from a zoom level of ten. When trying to select a movie, as you move in the neighborhood of the thumbnail, the thumbnails moves and is zoomed a little. You are able to make out if that is the one you want to select. On actually selecting it a video player appears that plays the piece. You can even configure a player of your own.
The package includes the source code in FLA format and opens with Flash 8, CS3 and CS4 versions. ActionScript used is version 2.0. If you want to and have the right skills you would be able to tweak the output through modifications in the source code. The application itself has a very small foot print of 24 KB only yet you are able to manage a huge media base of several hundred megabytes. Whether you want to organize your own video viewing or want to embed this facility into an application you are developing, this is a nice tool that`ll be handy.
