Features: The 3D stack for AS3 is really a photo gallery. Images in the set are shown as a 3D stack, hence the name. It can be used to display groups of images, movie clips, SWFs with perspective, depth, fading and so on. You can adjust image position via parameters. You can also do the same via camera keyboard and mouse clicks. Images used can be of an uniform size or variable. It is possible to add image titles to the images you want to display. These can be like in any product carousel, images of magazines, products, a set of leaflets that you use to describe your services.Images displayed can have reflection shown and the properties of the reflections can be adjusted.
Each image may be linked to a unique URL to aid in the navigation of your site for the visitor. Mouse roll-over will highlight the image. So that the visitor gets a positive feedback as to what has been selected. Browser window can be resized, the image being displayed gets resized automatically. Customization via XML files supported so that choosing the right parameters that suit your web site color scheme and design can be matched with the photo gallery. Optionally set the main XML configuration file path in HTML using FlashVars.
Overall: Automatic scrolling would have been a good feature. When the selected image is moving forward to the top of the 3D pile, the other images shake a little. Otherwise a handy tool.
