Text images, links and descriptions are taken from the XML file.

Pros: Create draggable menu items in Flash by this component. The code supplied has been commented well. So that not only you can specify several parameters via the XML file, you can tweak the code too for complete flexibility. Text images, links and descriptions are taken from the XML file. Whereas if you want to add more buttons then you need to create instances of "menu" MovieClip . Then copy the code from the previous button to the new button you have created. Then there are some simple changes and you are done! Making such and other changes are easy with the source code that is supplied. The source code is in FLA and opens with Flash 8 and Flash CS3. You can use Flash player 8 and later versions. ActionScript version 2.0 has been used.

There are several things you can customize. Text for each menu item can come from the XML file and can be whatever you have specified. The spacing between each menu item can be changed. Background images are what you want to specify is what will be shown. You specify the area over which the draggable area. You can add more menu items by tweaking the code and add number of buttons. Button link locations can be specified as you wish and you are able to change the draggable button text in the code.

Cons: No apparent problems here, but then this is a version 1.0 release!

Overall: Nice component that helps create Flash menus, easy to use and rates a nice 3 star.
