Scrolling Gallery, XML driven for Flash 8 / Flash CS3 / Flash CS4 and above / ActionScript 2.0 version.

Features: It is a Flash based image scrolling gallery component. There are two versions. One has a thumbnails arranged as a vertical scroller the other is a horizontal one. The main display area shows the image selected. In the vertical arrangement, thumbnails of the sequence of images to be displayed are arranged top to bottom. Clicking on a specific image visible in the display area displays the image. Navigation for images beyond the range shown in the thumbnails on the display area is by one of two ways. There are two directional arrows at the end of the thumbnails chain. Placing mouse over them does a fast forward/ rewind depending on the arrow chosen. The other method is to use the slider control available. Thumbnails get highlighted when selected.

The horizontal scrolling is done similarly except the sequence of thumbnails appear horizontally at the bottom of the display area. The component comes with customizable skins. XML file can be used to define various settings and the captions. Captions are available as transparent band near the bottom of the images displayed. Captions include a title and a description. Mouse wheel is supported as is scrolling speed adjustment. It is for Flash 8 and Flash CS3/CS4 and above, ActionScript supported is ActionScript 2.0.

Overall: Quite an well implemented scroller that can be used to advantage to show off your products. It is easy to integrate too.
