Sliding banner rotator with XML. Website banners, slides etc can be rotated. You can set several parameters for these through XML file.

Features: Sliding banner rotator with XML can let you set up a sliding and rotating banners feature quite easily. The banner/images are shown over the complete display area. Banners/images are rotated in one by one with a transition. Just two small controls are available towards the lower right hand corner. These two let you go forward or backward one step at a time. The transition effect is just moving in the new image which creates a blurring effect. A parameter can set how much of a blurring motion is to be shown.

There are several other parameters that can be set through a XML file. You can set the first item to be made visible. The images shown have rounded corners and the radius of the rounding can be set. The control buttons can remain visible or can be hidden. The time for which a banner is shown or the time for the transitions can be set through the XML file. The download package includes all the source in FLA. It opens with Flash CS3 and is viewable with Flash player 9 or later. ActionScript 3.0 has been used.

Overall: A reasonable utility that lets you set up banner rotators for your website. It is a version 1.0 release though so be aware that initial problems may have remained.
