Pros: Advanced RSS Mixer Personal is an application that can combine a set of free RSS feeds. It combines news, press, technology, press releases, articles and so on into one. Now you could upload to your site as a further inducement to visitors to your site for whom this one feed of possibly interesting feeds is available for subscription. This application automatically downloads the identified feeds, filters and then uploads to your designated site. FTP upload functions are built in. RSS keyword filters are built into the package and can be set as you desire for picking only the relevant feeds. Multiple category feed sorting can be done. The download, filtering, merge and publishing of the feed can happen on auto pilot as you can schedule the process.

The process starts with your selecting the interesting feeds. The tools for searching, adding, deleting, etc for editing the list, defining categories are the first steps. There’s a range of options available in three groups; general, output and default feeds. General group lets you set language of the feed and encoding to be used, default feed search engine, name the webmaster and the editor etc. Output options define the output folder and FTP related parameters such as the FTP server IP address, user id, password and the remote directory name to which the feed gets uploaded. You can define the default feed in the options page.
