It is a website database application created with Javeline Framework over an open MySQL DB. Free ppContact widget is available that interacts with database from web page. This Can be run from internet or web page hyperlink to the (pp dash index dot php) file in the publicpim subdirectory. The first person to register becomes SuperAdmin with rights to activate and authorize rights to other registrants. Site must have PHP and MySQL extensions installed. Persons with PHP and/or Javascript skills can create other forms like ppContact for even more powerful Web or Desktop Applications such as ppGrid.

The OpenDB User Group is a group of Database creators and vendors committed to promoting a common Open Source model for a database structure to use as an industry-standard for the utilization and exchange of database information and easier production of new applications. As a result, data for multiple applications will finally be fully accessible using this common structure. Creators and developers will be able to concentrate on building products instead of reinventing the wheel each time they have a new application. To promote this common structure, the OpenDB User Group is providing free resources and tools to help you enhance your database capabilities. The User Group is publishing the specifications for this common database structure definition. In addition, we are granting users a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to the documentation and executable prototypes in the OpenDB libraries, which allows for the designing and creating of databases using MANY-to-MANY relationships.
